All tractors will pull from a horizontal ring hitch. No hammer straps. The drawbar must have a 3" wide by 3.750" deep hole.
The hook must hang freely in the drawbar. There should be no weights or other obstructions to inhibit the hooking and
unhooking of the tractor. Hitch height is 22 inches maximum to the point of hook.
>>>> Strongly Recommended for 2024 but enforced in 2025
All tractors must have a working air shutoff. Spring loaded rain caps will be allowed with a guillotine recommended.
Shutoff must cut off all airflow to the turbo. The cutoff will be operated by a cable going to an easily accessible place on the rear of the tractor. It needs to have a 2" diameter steel welded ring to attach to the sled. A zip tie should be placed to hold the cable in at the rear of the tractor. If an issue with air shutoff occurs the zip tie will be used to determine whether the cable was pulled by the sled, or it is an issue on the tractor side. Only a broke zip tie will get a repull opportunity. All tractors will be required to have 2 - 3/8" diameter bolts placed in a cross pattern in the exhaust pipe as close to the turbo as possible. Also, no curved or turnout exhaust pipes will be allowed. All smoke must exit vertically.
